Nordic combined is a skiing event that combines ski jumping and cross-country skiing. In general, athletes who compete in the individual events do not also compete in the nordic combined.

Nordic combined has been a part of the Winter Olympics since the first event, in 1924.

The four events are individual, sprint, mass start, and team. Only men participate, since no women's events exist in the Olympics. The order is jumping, then cross-country.
