Maravilloso: World's Largest Teddy Bear Measures 65 Feet
May 1, 2019 A town in Mexico can now lay claim to the title of the holder of the world's largest teddy bear. Officials from Guinness World Records validated the 65-foot-long giant stuffed bear, giving it the honor of largest in the world, besting a 55-foot teddy bear named C.T.Dreams, created by Dana Warren of Edmond, Okla., in 2008. The people of Xonacatlán spent more than three months stitching together the giant stuffed toy. The 4.4-ton bear was on display at a soccer stadium as part of the town's Children's Day festival. They named the bear Xonita, after their town, which is in the State of Mexico, in the south-central part of the country. ![]() |
