If you are planning your home address to be 432 Park Avenue in New York City, you will be living in the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere.

At 1,396 feet tall, it is taller than the Empire State Building (by 144 feet) and the Statue of Liberty (by a lot more, 1,089 feet). The $1.3 billion tower has 96 storeys and is the second-tallest building in the city, trailing only One World Trade Center. It is the tallest building in which people live or will live in North America or South America.

The views from any of the 104 apartments are sure to be spectacular, including unobstructed visions of such New York icons as Central Park, Wall Street, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Also in the building will be private dining rooms, private screening rooms, golf training facilities, and a lap pool.

The purchase price tops out at $95 million (and that one, the penthouse, has already been bought). The cheapest apartment in the building will go for $7 million.

CIM Group and developer Harry Macklowe have commissioned the construction, on a design by noted architect Rafael Vinoly.

Construction began in 2012, on the site of the 1926 Drake Hotel (which was demolished), and is scheduled to be completed in 2015.
